SAP Business Objects Enterprise Platform Installation
The SAP Business Objects Enterprise Platform delivers a complete set of BI capabilities that will help you integrate data and transform it to deliver information that supports fact-based decision making throughout your organization. To take full advantage of its capabilities, the platform must be fully integrated into your existing IT infrastructure. ASR will install and configure your Platform for use by everyone from your external constituents/customers to decision makers and administrators.
As part of our Business Objects Enterprise Platform Installation Services, ASR will:
- Assess your current IT infrastructure and make recommendations for Business Objects deployment, including sizing and configuration.
- Install Business Objects Enterprise and related desktop client and development tools according to vendor specifications and our own best practice methodology.
- Prepare Central Management Server (CMS) and auditing database.
- Review and validate operation of services and agents (e.g. query, rendering, cacheing, etc.)
- Configure users and groups within the BI platform.
- Install and configure required third-party software (e.g. Web server software, run-time, and development environments).
- Configure web server for internal and external audiences, including Sharepoint integration if desired.
- Install desktop client applications including Crystal Reports, WebIntelligence Rich Client and Universe Designer
- Validate and test the configuration including access to data sources.
- Recommend training for staff responsible to manage and maintain the Business Objects Enterprise platform and infrastructure.
